Privacy notice
Hoiwa is currently in setup mode. Accounts and professional profiles can be created and verified, but no services are booked or sold yet and no payment details are collected.
What we collect
- All accounts: full name, email address, phone number and password (stored securely, never readable by us).
- Healthcare professionals: the profile details you enter, a profile photo, and identity, education, registration and licence documents for verification.
- The date you accepted this notice and, for professionals, the outcome and date of each verification check.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account.
- To verify that professionals are qualified and licensed before their profile is shown.
- To show customers an anonymous profile (ID, age, gender, languages, category, qualifications, experience, skills, availability, rate and verified status).
Who can see it
A professional's name, photo, contact details and documents are stored privately and are visible only to the professional and our verification administrators. They are never shown to customers, including after a booking. Customers see only the verified profession, curated skills and broad service area. Unverified or unapproved profiles are not shown to anyone. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.
Your rights
You can view and correct your data at any time in your account, and you can ask us to export or delete it. Contact us at privacy@hoiwamedsafe.my.
